Beyond Friendship Poetry Retreat 4-6 July led by Hannah Stone 

Through the medium of poetry, we will explore friendship and the spirituality of loss. This retreat is in memory of the scholar and deacon Rosemary Mitchell; Rosemary and Hannah had been booked to deliver a retreat on poetry and women’s spirituality at Parcevall Hall in 2020, which was cancelled due to lockdown.  

Hannah will share her own poetry and Rosemary’s, as well as great poem from the ‘canon’ of English literature and religious texts. Together we will explore how poetry can speak of matters of absolute and personal importance. All are welcome, whether or not you consider yourself a poet, to share, read, reflect on and write poetry at the retreat.
