SUMMARY:Recorder Players' Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Tutor: Terry Smurthwaite \nEnsemble playing in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere\, this workshop is aimed at experienced adult players who ideally offer two instruments and are able to swap between them. The ability to hold your own part in a group and good sight-reading skills are key. Expect a wide variety of interesting music and technique tuition\, as required. To book and for all other enquiries\, please contact the Hall directly. \nTerry regularly conducts Society of Recorder Players’ meetings at Leeds\, Bingley and York.  He also conducts a group which meets weekly in Ilkley and has recently founded and conducts The Rombalds Recorders\, a group set up to perform early music. In addition to bringing a wide range of music\, he is asos able to offer advice on the techniques of ensemble playing and musicianship.
