DESCRIPTION:Leader: Revd Canon Ailsa Newby \n Thank God for Mother Earth. In the week that we celebrate St Francis\, it is good to explore and celebrate our relationship with God’s creation. Surrounded by the beauty of the natural world\, this quiet day will offer ways to explore our inter-relatedness with creation and our responsibility for it as we give thanks for all that God gives us in his world. \n Canon Ailsa Newby is Canon Pastor at Ripon Cathedral with responsibility for mission and pastoral care. Ordained in Southwark in 1998\, she served in that Diocese in various roles until moving to Ripon Cathedral in the summer of 2017.  Part of her ministry has always involved spiritual direction and retreat leading\, and she is now also serving the Diocese of Leeds as Spirituality and Spiritual Direction Co-ordination for the Ripon Episcopal Area. \nThis is a free event\, but please note\, booking is now required.
