DESCRIPTION:Witness: Revd Martin Thorpe\n\nA silent ‘listening’ retreat. Contemplative life is the expression of the desire to seek stillness amid the rush of life\, to hear ‘the still small voice’ amid today’s clamour; to search for and listen to  God. Experienced with others in a group\, silence is deeper and more powerful than when alone. By making a space for yourself and your relationship with God\, you are giving yourself and Him  a wonderful gift. Martin will be leading retreatants in contemplation of chosen Dominical sayings. \nMartin is a Pioneer Team Vicar in Warrington who has been a priest for 30 years. He is a Trustee and Council member of the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer and an experienced ‘Witness’  and FCP Retreat leader. Formerly a research chemist\, he retains a strong interest in science and nature. He is fully inclusive. \nBookings should be made through the Hall.
