SUMMARY:Open Quiet Day - Seeking stillness
DESCRIPTION:Seeking stillness\, take time out from the rush of life with contemplative silence in a group for two one-hour sessions\, facilitated by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer. \nOur Open Quiet Days are gentle days of prayer and reflection. Each Quiet Day has its own theme\, and the pattern of the day is designed by the leader to include guided reflection and free time\, talking with others and time for silence. Hall staff serve teas and coffees regularly throughout the day\, participants are asked to bring their own lunch.\nArrivals are from 10:00 and the day ends at 16:00.\nQuiet Days are ‘Pay As You Feel’ events and payments can be made on the day by card or in cash. Your contribution to running costs will be greatly appreciated.\nPlease book your place in advance by contacting the office. Parcevall Hall Open Quiet Days are usually oversubscribed\, so if you can’t make the date after all\, please let us know and someone else will take your place. To ensure that a wide range of people can attend\, we will accept a maximum of three bookings per person during the year.

DESCRIPTION:Heart & Soul Singing Retreat – Led by Keely Hodgson. \nCombine singing in harmony with rest\, nurture and inspiration. No previous singing experience or the ability to read music required.  A varied repertoire of songs and rounds are sensitively taught using call and response. \nKeely is a composer and natural voice practitioner.  She leads a number of community choirs and is committed to sharing the sense of wellbeing singing with others can bring.
