DESCRIPTION:Wintering time\, led by Hannah Stone\, and focussing on periods of rest\, retreat and dormancy as a time for reflection and renewal. \nOur Open Quiet Days are gentle days of prayer and reflection. Each Quiet Day has its own theme\, and the pattern of the day is designed by the leader to include guided reflection and free time\, talking with others and time for silence. Hall staff serve teas and coffees regularly throughout the day\, participants are asked to bring their own lunch. \nArrivals are from 10:00 and the day ends at 16:00. \nQuiet Days are ‘Pay As You Feel’ events and payments can be made on the day by card or in cash. Your contribution to running costs will be greatly appreciated. \nPlease book your place in advance by contacting the office. Parcevall Hall Open Quiet Days are usually oversubscribed\, so if you can’t make the date after all\, please let us know and someone else will take your place. To ensure that a wide range of people can attend\, we will accept a maximum of three bookings per person during the year.

DESCRIPTION:Friends at Christmas – Lunch\, Eucharist\, Carol Singing & Mince Pies. \nJoin us for a day of celebration that will be a highlight in your Christmas calendar.  The day starts with coffee and Eucharist\, followed by a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings.  After lunch\, there will be time to spend in the Hall and Gardens\, before carols\, mince pies and mulled wine. \nThis is one of the ‘Friends of Parcevall Hall’ special events\, there is one planned for each season of the year to provide regular opportunities’ for friendship\, fun and worship.  Some of these events are subsidised by the Friends of Parcevall Hall to enable those who give so much to spend time together here. \nFriends are welcome to book a nights stay before or after an event\, especially if they are travelling a distance.
