In addition to teaching at her home near Durham\, she has busy schedules in Cumbria and at the Early Music Shop\, Saltaire. Mary also teaches online. She founded\, and continues to be the Musical Director of the Durham branch of the Society of Recorder Players\, and is regularly invited to guest conduct at other SRP branches and festivals. She also leads workshops for various Early Music forums and tutors at the Early Music summer schools\, NORVIS and HISS. \nThere are four other Recorder Player Workshops this year: 28 – 30 May\, 2 – 4 August\, 8 – 10 October & 6 – 8 December.

SUMMARY:Spring Walking in Wharfedale
DESCRIPTION:Wharfedale’s varied landscape is on a reassuringly human scale; wild moorland\, wooded vales and boulder-strewn hillsides above the peaty waters of the River Wharfe. We offer a choice each  day of either short or longer walks with our guides\, returning to the welcome and warmth of the Hall. Packed lunches are provided\, but if at any time you would rather take a stroll around the gardens\, lunch can be served for you in the dining room. \nOur chaplain\, Canon Graham Bettridge\, will be here for a part of your stay to provide spiritual leadership for those who would like to participate. \nThere is one other walking break this year: 24 – 27 September.
