SUMMARY:The Art of Paying Attention: a Retreat Inspired by the Poetry of Mary Oliver
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Paying Attention: a Retreat Inspired by the Poetry of Mary Oliver \nLed by Dilly Baker. \n  \n“Tell me\, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” – Mary Oliver \nJoin us for a restorative retreat where we explore the wisdom of Mary Oliver’s poetry—words that invite us to slow down\, pay attention\, and reconnect with the natural world and ourselves. Through guided and shared reflections and time spent in the beauty of nature around us\, we’ll uncover deeper insights into our own stories\, values\, and perspectives. \nThis retreat is for anyone seeking renewal\, inspiration\, connection and stillness. \nNo prior knowledge of the poetry is necessary—just a willingness to explore\, reflect\, and embrace the beauty of paying attention. \nDilly is an Anglican Priest and experienced Retreat Leader \nFor more information or to book email:  dillybaker@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Walking in Wharfedale - Autumn Rambling
DESCRIPTION:Walking in Wharfedale led by a team of experienced Walk Leaders \nAutumn Rambling 7-10 October \n  \nEnjoy the Autumn colours of the woods and golden bracken as you walk in the Dales in October\, and delight in the crisp Autumn air. \nWharfedale’s varied landscape is on a reassuringly human scale: wild moorland\, wooded vales and boulder-strewn hillsides above the peaty waters of the River Wharfe. Enjoy a retreat with guided walks\, time for personal reflection\, and the warm hospitality of Parcevall Hall. Packed lunches are provided\, but you can choose to eat in the dining room if you prefer a stroll round the gardens rather than a longer walk. \nCost for each retreat: £325
