Parcevall Hall’s 2023 Programme is now open for bookings

Parcevall’s Lent retreat next year is led by our Chaplain, Canon Graham Bettridge; Mystery, music and mastery: Lenten Collects of Cranmer.

In March, Dr Rupert Sheldrake leads a two-day event which is designed for leaders and teachers in churches, cathedrals and other holy places, Teaching spiritual practices. The very popular Beginner’s Birdwatching returns in May, led again by ornithologist Chris Bradshaw.

In June, a two-day retreat, Temple Theology, is an approach to Biblical Study led by its creator, Margaret Barker, who was awarded a Lambeth Degree by Rowan Williams for her ‘…significantly new contribution to our understanding of the New Testament’. Later in June Jill Benet leads her second Centering Prayer retreat for us, Living the Contemplative Life: What gets in the way?

Erudite and engaging, Hugh Parry is the tutor for two Literature Appreciation retreats, the first on Chaucer in April, and the second, Music in Literature in September. Tim Stimson leads two Art Appreciation retreats; in April The Glasgow Boys and in August, Swedish Impressionism. Tim lectures for the Art Fund and the University of Cambridge.
