Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer

A silent ‘listening’ retreat. Contemplative life is the expression of the desire to seek stillness amid the rush of life, to hear ‘the still small voice’ amid today’s clamour; to search for and listen to God. Experienced with others in a group, silence is deeper and more powerful than when alone. By making a space for yourself and your relationship with God, you are giving yourself and Him a wonderful gift. Martin will be leading retreatants in contemplation of chosen Dominical sayings.
Martin is a Pioneer Team Vicar in Warrington who has been a priest for 30 years. He is a Trustee and Council member of the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer and an experienced ‘Witness’ and FCP Retreat leader. Formerly a research chemist, he retains a strong interest in science and nature. He is fully inclusive.
