£288Leader: Revd Paul Fisher
Paul, born in Bewdley North Worcestershire in 1943, is a ‘retired’ Anglican priest living in Langcliffe, Settle with his wife Sue. They have a son, daughter, and a grandson. Paul took degrees in Theology at Oxford and Birmingham, and diplomas in Piano Teaching and Performance at Birmingham and the Royal College of Music. He is also a composer of choral, organ, piano and orchestral music.
During his 30 years of parish, church adult education, laity and clergy training ministry, Paul and his family have led an up and down country ‘yo-yo’ existence working in the Midlands, Manchester University, Cumbria, and North & South London. His ‘retirement’, or ‘redirection’ as he prefers to call it, has been spent helping out in parishes, doing consultancy work, spiritual direction, community/neighbourhood mediation, playing the organ for worship, giving concerts, and composing.
Paul enjoys walking in the Dales, climbing mountains, reading history and biography, and piano and organ playing.
